Parade Services involving our uniformed organisations are held on special occasions, including our Patronal Festival, Remembrance Sunday, Harvest Festival and Mothering Sunday. A weekly Communion service is also held at Hill House Nursing Home, Kenley

Music: We have a choir and organist, and a junior church band that plays on special occasions. Although we have a choir gallery at the rear of the Nave, as well as a fully functioning manual organ, the choir tend to be located in the front pews and are accompanied using a modern organ or keyboard.
Hymn Lists:
"Dearly Beloved": Recordings by parishioner Alan Jessop from the Book of Common Prayer
"Praise Him, the Great Creator": In February 1970 the church choir, under the direction of Organist & Choirmaster Richard Halsey, and assisted by Margaret Rawlings, had a recording made of some 15 different pieces. The Vicar, Graham Lynch-Watson, introduced the programme, and the recording was issued as an LP. Few of these now exist, but one has been located and the contents re-recorded in MP3 format and are available below. Whilst the choir were not quite up to Kings College standard, the recording does not do justice to the quality that prevailed at the time; the transcription from LP to MP3 has also not improved the sound, but these tracks do represent a moment in the history of St Barnabas Church, Purley.
