Baptisms

We’re delighted you’re thinking of baptism for your child. Your child is precious to you and precious to God. At baptism you promise to raise your child to know God loves them, and to help them to follow Jesus as a member of the Church.

Most baptisms are carried out during our Parish Eucharist service at 10am on a Sunday, although they can be arranged at other times.  To arrange a baptism, please contact our Baptism Coordinator, Stephanie Dungate, by phone on 01883 347188 or email baptisms@saintb.org.uk.

For more information on Baptism, please visit the Church of England's website by clicking here.

Weddings

Congratulations! You're welcome to marry in church whatever your beliefs, whether or not you are baptised and whether or not you go to church. And, marrying in church has never been easier!

In the first instance, please write to, phone or email one of the clergy team.  Before Banns can be read in church, you will need to print and then complete the application form, and return it to the Parish Office.  All relevant addresses and phone numbers can be found on the Contacts page.

For more information on Weddings in church, please visit the Church of England's website by clicking here.

Funerals

A funeral marks the close of a human life on earth. It is the opportunity for friends and family to express their grief, to give thanks for the life which has now completed its journey in this world and to commend the person into God's keeping.

Funerals need to be organised in conjunction with a Funeral Director - you may click here to search for one locally.  You can also telephone a member of our clergy team or the Parish Office - for contact details, please click here.

We have a Garden of Remembrance for the interment of cremated remains.

For more information on Funerals, please visit the Church of England's website here.

Receptions, Parties & Celebrations

We have two halls that can be booked for special functions.  Please click here for details.
